are you smoking while taking it?
and besides, I fail to see a downside of that feeling

While we're on it, or addictions in general... I dont think I can get addicted to much besides, porn, o' course!) Honestly, I've seen everyone else fuck up in my family by becoming addicted to tobacco, alchohol, or worse... and I guess it makes me more um... resisant to temptation?

What Im saying is, hell, I've actually smoked quite a bit in my time, between my brother being a heavy smoker, and a few friends that did, so if there was another one around... hell, I'd sit outside, have a talk, and a smoke with them.
Thing was, I could just end up saying "nah, dont feel like it" and... I went from whenever I wanted to, just not doing it one day, didn't want to. Haven't for a year and a half now

Addiction's fer suckers!

nicotine is more addictive than heroin.
if I go a few hours without a smoke, I get headaches you wouldn't fucking believe.
and I get right snippy too.

kinda feeling like that right now, although it ain't nic-related.

The side effects will subside with a little bit of time. it takes a while to build to a theraputic level in your bloodstream. give it a few weeks

I was kind of like T.M above. I could smoke for a few months, get tired of it and quit. I could do this over and over. finally I just said screw it. I've seen way too many people die or work on them while dying from smoking. its a rough way to die

Lightbulb

Try poking yourself in the eye everytime you light up. Eventually you'll get sick of doing that so you'll just quit.....or go blind.

I'm on major pain killers for my back and have been for a long time. I'm sure if I didnt take them I'd have major withdrawls and end up in the E.R. a while back I tried oxycotin for pain. that shit is straight from hell. 10 minutes late on a dose and youre into withdrawls. Evil shit. I got off of it as soon as I could get it out of my system. If they ever try and give any of you that shit, run the other way

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">I was taking Vicodin for my back a few years back. I was on it for about three months. Loved how it made me feel. But the same thing happened to me after I went off of it - major withdrawals. Shaky, depressed, diarrhea. I was miserable! Took me about two weeks to recover from it.

I didn't go that route, I just used the patch and took myself off of that a month ago. I used the strong patch for a week, then the middle strength for about a month and started cutting them in half
down to quarters and that was that. I'm happy to be smoke free for two and 1/2 months now and I've even lost weight during this time to boot.
I will say this.. if you get some migraine headaches at about 3 weeks to a month Nicotine
free, don't worry, it happens to a lot of people.
Congrats on getting off the smokes bud!!
